Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi continues to be linked with a transfer to Liverpool ahead of the January windowLiverpool have been handed a blow to their hopes of signing Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi during the January transfer window. Summer signing Giovanni Leoni is ruled out for the remainder of the campaign with a knee injury, while Joe Gomez has spent time on the sidelines this term.It remains to be seen if Liverpool will decide to make a push to try and sign Guehi in January, look at alternative targets or not go into the market for defensive reinforcements at all.Palace manager Oliver Glasner stated back in October that he expects Guehi to leave the club on a free transfer, with the Eagles boss revealing that Guehi does not intend to sign a new deal."I think Marc has already told us that he doesn't sign a new contract, so he will leave next year," Glasner said in October."The club wanted (him to stay).
