Liverpool are 17 games into the 2025/26 campaign and have been without 10 different players due to injury or suspension, but the number of games missed has decreased compared to last season. But with Liverpool now taking a pause due to the international break, let’s take a look at which players have missed games so far and for how long.

The number of games missed is not too dissimilar from the same time last season – a reduction of 8.8 percent, in fact – as eight players missed a combined 45 games across the first 17 matches last year. Of the 10 players who have missed at least one match, only Hugo Ekitike has not been ruled out due to injury, instead missing the trip to Crystal Palace due to suspension.

Liverpool injuries reduced by 64.3% in 2024/25 Last season proved a monumental success for Slot and Co. in reducing the number of games missed due to injury, with a 64.3 percent improvement on Jurgen Klopp‘s final campaign. Only 11 regular senior players were forced to miss at least one game across 2024/25 for a combined 129 games missed, down from the 22 players and 362 matches of 2023/24 (pictured above).
