Conor Bradley, Jeremie Frimpong and Dominik Szoboszlai have rotated between them, with the Hungarian rather worryingly looking like the best option.Within that, Bradley has perhaps struggled the most. Withdrawn at half-time during last Sunday’s loss against Chelsea, the Liverpool academy graduate headed into the international break with something to prove.Happily, Bradley came out swinging on Friday evening.

After laying down a marker, Bradley should now start that game. What about Jeremie Frimpong?

Bradley has not been the only Liverpool right-back in action during the international break so far.Jeremie Frimpong put in a mixed performance for the Netherlands on Thursday, featuring in a more advanced right wing position.Given the most recent form of the two players, and Bradley’s status as a more orthodox right-back, it is clear who should currently have the shirt at Liverpool.Bradley also tends to play higher up the pitch on international duty, and that was the case on Friday as he featured in a right wing-back role. Nevertheless, the confidence this performance should give him – while wearing the captain’s armband no less – will hopefully be the boost he needs to get his season back on track. In our opinion, it is Bradley’s shirt to lose.
