Simon Jordan reckons a potential Liverpool pursuit of Antoine Semenyo may prove more complicated than many might assume, despite news of an $85 million (£65 million) release clause being written into his contract. Semenyo had trials at Palace when he was 15 and they didn't want him.
He was there for eight weeks and didn't want him. Given Guehi's indication that he will not extend his contract, which expires next summer, the Eagles may be forced to sell him in January.
"We have at the moment of time three center-backs, maybe Ryan (Gravenberch) and Wata (Wataru Endo) who can play there. We have other positions there which are bit more of an issue." Liverpool.com says: Semenyo will have plenty of clubs in for him during 2026, whether that is in January or the summer.
