It's a special career that he's had."He's a really humble guy and understands where he's come from, and he deserves everything he gets."It was reported on Monday that Robertson is in advanced talks about a summer move to Tottenham.While he had been loosely linked with a potential return to Scotland with Celtic, Adam is adamant the defender still belongs at the top level of English football."I think if you're any other club in the Premier League, maybe apart from two or three, you'd still be looking to sign Andy Robertson as one of the top left-backs in the league," said Adam, who is currently coaching in Burnley's academy."He's got that opportunity to pick where he wants to go.
