Wilson's final loan spell away from Liverpool came during the 2021-22 season, which he spent at Fulham, and the Cottagers were impressed enough with the Wales international to sign him permanently. The 29-year-old enjoyed a brilliant 2025-26 season, registering 10 goals and seven assists in 37 Premier League appearances, and he is set to be come one of the most appealing free agents on the market at the end of the month.Liverpool is on the hunt for a right winger to replace Mohamed Salah this summer, and although Wilson's profile is slightly different to Salah, former Red Gary McAllister thinks that Wilson would be a good addition to the Liverpool squad.“He’s a really interesting one," McAllister said.

"He’s been coached in the Liverpool way, and he always caught the eye when you were around Anfield.“When I was doing bits and bobs for the club, you’d hear about the young players coming through, and he was one of the standouts.“I watched Harry from a very young age, and the performances you’ve seen at Fulham are very similar to what I saw when he was playing for the youth team at Liverpool.Harry Wilson enjoyed a good season with Fulham(Image: Getty Images)“With his passing range, his ability to get a goal, and his work rate, he’s becoming a very complete player.“So, it’s no surprise there’s interest, as he’s up at the end of the season, and I’m sure there will be a lot of takers. Liverpool should be one of them.“Without a shadow of a doubt, Harry is a top-end Premier League player now.

He has been on the international stage for his country as well, and he’s been fantastic there. I’m really pleased for him because he’s a very hard worker.”For now, there is no suggestion that Liverpool is considering bringing Wilson back to Anfield, and he is instead being more heavily linked with a move to Tottenham.Tottenham is aiming to rebuild its squad after a torrid season which saw the North London club narrowly avoid relegation to the Championship.Choose Liverpool.com as a 'Preferred Source' on Google News for quick access to the news you value.Liverpool FCTransfersHarry Wilson
