Their latest defeat came at the hands of Nottingham Forest, who went 6-2 up after the hour mark before Josh Sonni-Lambie’s late consolation. While it was a difficult afternoon for Liverpool it did bring another big moment for Abe, who scored his first home goal for the U18s.

Sonni-Lambie, who came off the bench as his minutes are managed in a busy schedule for the striker, made sure Liverpool at least scored the last goal of the game as he struck well for 6-3. Sonni-Lambie is their leading goalscorer with nine goals in 12 games for the U18s and 11 in 17 across the age groups this season.
