Jeremie Frimpong: 8 – Did brilliantly to get the run on his man and win a header at the back post to make it 4-0 and also allowed Barcola to complete his hat-trick with a perfect ball to the back post. Ronald Araujo: 7 – Deserved his first Liverpool goal having gone close just before.

Drove forward well with the ball and complemented Florian Wirtz: 7 – Started well and it was super to see him set Barcola up for his second of the night, but Wirtz did fade from the game after that. Bradley Barcola: 9 (Man of the match) – A perfect night for Barcola who finally showed Liverpool supporters what he’s all about.
