Liverpool striker Jayden Danns is stepping up his return from injury ahead of the second half of the season. Danns joined Sunderland on a loan deal until the end of last season in February, but an issue with his back that came to light during his medical meant he immediately returned to Liverpool to recover, and never actually took part in a training session with the North East club.

The Daily Mail says that Danns is a few weeks ahead of schedule with his recovery from his latest injury, and that he recently returned to doing ball work on the grass. Bradley has not figured since the November international break, having returned from Northern Ireland duty with a muscle injury, while Frimpong has not appeared for the Reds since suffering a hamstring injury in a Champions League game away to Frankfurt on October 22.

I hope he [Bradley] will be available for Leeds.” Slot added: "We expect the same (for Frimpong to return to training) next week, so the two of them (Frimpong and Bradley) come back but unfortunately we play a lot of games. "So Jeremie, if he is training with us next week, he will miss out on three more games, for example.
