But until a deal is signed, Semenyo's future remains open and Liverpool will look to seize on the fact the door is still ajar, especially given their struggles this season.The Anfield club are among five sides who have enquired about the Ghanaian - as well as City, Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea all registered their interest, but some have since backed out.The recent injury to Alexander Isak could see Liverpool ramp up their interest, but equally their huge recruitment drive in the summer has led to a plethora of attacking players for Arne Slot to pick from, which has proved a huge challenge.Semenyo wants his future resolved swiftly - especially as the release clause figure in his contract will expire until the summer come January 10.
