Bobby Clark spent time with the Reds between 2021 and 2024, initially joining their academy before working his way into the senior squad.
It saw Clark reunite with former Reds assistant manager Pepijn Lijnders, who was in charge of the Austrian side at the time. Despite his obvious potential, it never worked out for Clark at Salzburg and he was loaned to Championship side Derby County last season.

As a result, they are in line to receive just over £1m.While not a huge amount of money in the grand scheme of things, it will represent a welcome boost for Liverpool as they go in search of reinforcements in the summer market.Bobby Clark is poised to complete a £6m move to Derby County (Image: Getty)They have already signed Victor Munoz from Spanish side Osasuna, having secured his signature ahead of Newcastle United despite the Magpies reaching an agreement of their own.Liverpool are now stepping up their efforts to land RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, who has been hailed as a potential successor to Mohamed Salah. The teenager is currently representing Ivory Coast at the World Cup and is thought to be valued at around £87m by his current employers. An opening bid was rejected by Leipzig last week but Liverpool are widely expected to return to the table with an improved secondary offer.Diomande recently hinted that he would be open to a Premier League switch, claiming that his future would most likely be sorted after the World Cup.
