Bradley Barcola is set to travel to England for his medical with Liverpool after being given permission by PSG, following an agreement over a huge transfer fee between the two clubs. After a painstakingly long saga, Liverpool have finally got their man, with Barcola set to become a Red in the next few days.

According to TEAMtalk journalist Graeme Bailey, Liverpool and Barcola have been given the green light to proceed with the various formalities needed to complete their marquee transfer. Bailey reports: “Liverpool have agreed a deal in principle with Paris Saint-Germain for Bradley Barcola, with the transfer set to be completed for a fee just below the British record and with sources sharing other key details on the negotiations.

“Barcola and his camp have now been informed that they have permission to travel to England to undergo his medical and complete the formalities of the transfer. “Barcola will also be free to take up his preferred No.29 shirt at Anfield, which has remained unoccupied for years at Liverpool and was last worn by loanee Arthur Melo during the 2022/23 season.” Liverpool don’t need to rush Barcola into action, but the sooner the better Hopefully we get to see a glimpse of Barcola against Ipswich, but Liverpool will have the French winger for the next five years, so there’s no rush.
