Mohamed Salah is set to play for Liverpool again after the club allayed fears his Anfield career had been ended by the injury he suffered on Saturday. But Liverpool confirmed he only suffered a minor muscle injury and expect him to be fit again before the end of the season.
Salah has announced he will depart in the summer, after nine years at Liverpool and having established himself as one of the greatest players in their history. But head coach Arne Slot said at the weekend he was unsure if Salah would be fit to feature again after he went off in the 3-1 win over Palace.
On the club’s official website they wrote: “Liverpool FC can confirm Mohamed Salah is expected to be available to play again before the end of this season.“The No.11 was substituted during the second half of last Saturday’s Premier League win over Crystal Palace at Anfield.
