The 33-year-old reached an agreement with the club to waive the final year of his contract, having only signed a two-year deal 12 months ago. There is still no official word yet on where Salah will go next after leaving the Reds, although speculation has grown this week over a move to Turkiye, while he has long been linked with the Saudi Pro League. His outspoken agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, has now provided his own update, having posted on X for the first time since Salah’s last game for Liverpool against Brentford.“Mohamed is doing perfectly fine and neither he nor I prefer to discuss sensitive future plans with people not involved in them,” he said.“Both he and I are very private about these things.
