Credit: ImagoIn terms of the financial situation at St James’ Park, Deloitte’s 2026 Money League revealed the Magpies’ revenue increased from £312million in 2023-24 to £334m last season.

Matchday revenue remained static at £57m, but the latest increase in ticket prices is likely to improve that figure for next season. Howe’s side are preparing to take on Manchester City in the FA Cup fifth round on Saturday (7 March) before they face Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie next week at St James’ Park.
