Galatasaray's Noa Lang has posted on social media for the first time after suffering a horror injury during his side's Champions League defeat to Liverpool. The forward had to be carried off the field after he appeared to get his thumb caught in the advertising hoardings as he looked to keep the ball in play during the second half of his side's 4-0 defeat, which sent Liverpool through to a quarter-final meeting with Paris Saint-Germain.

Galatasaray has since confirmed Lang had stayed in Liverpool to undergo surgery on his thumb, with the 26-year-old having now posted on Instagram after undergoing the procedure.
