Milos Kerkez – 6/10 One of his better games for Liverpool, there was little to criticise other than it was an ordinary performance from Kerkez. Virgil van Dijk – 6/10 With his centre-back partner, Konate, regularly losing his head, it’s a good thing that Liverpool have Mr Reliable alongside him otherwise, things might be going a lot worse for them.
The Dutchman did have a brainless moment of his own when he tried to head the ball back to Alisson from about 30 yards, but other than that, it was a good display from van Dijk. Ibrahima Konate – 4/10 After awarding him a 5/10 for his performance against Sunderland, it didn’t seem likely he could play any worse.
Florian Wirtz – 6/10 While by no means a bad performance, Wirtz simply didn’t light the game up like he did in his previous performances. Hugo Ekitike 8/10 Were it not for the superhuman display from Szoboszlai, Ekitike would have comfortably been Liverpool’s best player on the pitch as he continues to shine since his move from Eintracht Frankfurt.
