The midfielder joined the Reds as a teenager in 2013 and built a reputation in the academy for his energy and quality in possession, which helped earn him loan moves to Doncaster Rovers and Hull City as he tried to make the jump into senior football.While a first-team breakthrough at Anfield never arrived, Kane has since carved out a solid EFL career with Barnsley and more recently Huddersfield Town, before heading to Plymouth on loan to bolster their midfield options.
