Reliable journalist David Lynch believes there is currently nothing to suggest that Arne Slot should stay on as Liverpool’s head coach. Speaking to Anfield Index, Lynch claimed that Liverpool should decide to make a change in the dugout, contrary to reports that have suggested he will stay on: “This season has been miles from good enough.
The manager is not doing a good enough job and they probably should dismiss him.” Lynch also added: “There’s nothing there. Nothing good and you’re like the idea that they’re going to go into the next season having looked at this, having watched this and think it’s just going to suddenly be better because they’re going to sign a couple of wingers.” Are Mo Salah’s comments the final nail in Arne Slot’s coffin?
Slot is arguably under more pressure than he has ever been at during his time at Liverpool, with patience now completely wearing thin with so many. There appears to have been a slight change in stance from reliable journalists of late, though, including Lynch’s comments above and Fabrizio Romano saying “there will be a season review” at the end of the season.
