MORE FOOTBALL INSIDER STORIES Having seen the success of players like Gassama under Rohl’s management, they feel the Huddersfield star could be next to make the step up.Should he opt against extending his stay with the Terriers, Ibrox would be seen as an interesting destination, while it would be seen as a big coup for Rangers.Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: “He’s a player that I think a lot of clubs will probably be looking at due to his contract situation.



“He’s out of contract at Huddersfield in the summer as well, so he could be lured away for minimal compensation if he was to make the move to Scotland.“Obviously there is a real potential there with Cameron Ashia. If they can sign a top young player who’s 19 right now for free in the summer, it’ll be real smart piece of business by Rangers.“Rangers have had success previously signing players from the EFL.
