Liverpool player Tsimikas completed a season-long loan move to Roma at the end of August, but has not had the best of starts to life with the Giallorossi. Football Italia reports that Tsimikas was excited by the Roma project, but that he has been a disappointment so far.
Angelino has missed the last few games due to illness, but Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini has preferred to move Wesley — a natural right wing-back — over to the left flank in Angelino's absence rather than use Tsimikas. Tsimikas isn't the only Liverpool loanee who has struggled this season: Harvey Elliott is also having a difficult time with his loan club, Aston Villa.
"I am happy with him, he's training well. He's a very good player, only our demands are at a high level and some players and how they are performing last year and this year, are playing in the same position." Frustratingly for Elliott, he cannot play for another club this season as he has already played for two clubs, and FIFA rules say that a player is not allowed to play for three clubs in a single campaign.Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.
