Speaking after the game, Keane said that the current United side have goals in them and they will have a successful season if they can replicate such displays.

He said: "The team [Manchester United] does look like they have goals in this team. There will be good vibes and it's great to be successful, now you have to keep going and have a really good season." United have climbed into the top half of the league table after the surprise but deserved win.

They are presently just two points behind the Champions League spots. United have since won back-to-back matches which has silenced most of the critics.
