Salah in Istanbul to finalise Trabzonspor switch

A deal for the former Premier League player of the season and Golden Boot winner would be a significant coup for Trabzonspor, who won the last of their seven Turkish league titles in 2022.

Trabzonspor finished third last season, eight points behind champions Galatasaray, and face a play-off against opponents to be determined to qualify for the league phase of the Europa League. If they fall short, they will play in the Conference League.
