Mohamed Salah has been left out of Liverpool's squad for their upcoming UEFA Champions League match against Inter Milan. This decision comes shortly after Salah’s explosive interview following Liverpool’s 3-3 draw with Leeds, where he expressed that he had been "thrown under the bus" and revealed he has no relationship with Liverpool’s manager, Arne Slot. Salah also implied the match against Brighton might be his last at Anfield.

Despite training on Monday with the Liverpool squad, Salah will not be traveling to Italy for the game. Liverpool’s club management, in consultation with and supported by manager Arne Slot, decided to omit Salah from the squad. The club believes that giving Salah some time away from selection is in the best interests of the player, the team, and the club as a whole at this moment.

This move marks a shift for Salah, who has been a key player and regular starter for Liverpool since joining the club in 2017. However, his form this season has declined, with only five goals scored in 18 appearances. Additionally, he has been starting on the bench in Liverpool's last three matches instead of in the starting eleven.

The omission of Salah is a club decision and does not come with any disciplinary action despite the critical nature of his recent comments regarding his relationship with the club and coach.[1][2]
