Silva, in charge since July 2021, guided Fulham back to the top flight in his first season and followed it with a 10th-place finish.

Sky Sports’ Noah Langford said: “Marco Silva is edging closer to staying at Fulham for another season. “Retaining Silva would no doubt be a success for the Whites – but it remains to be seen whether he would still be choosing Fulham should another attractive opportunity come his way”.

Only four teams have picked up more Premier League points than Fulham in the last six matches (10). Marco Silva’s side have the fifth-best home record (29 points) but rank 17th away, with 15 points from 15 games, losing eight (W4 D3).
