Club insiders stress that Gordon’s future remains “firmly in Newcastle’s hands” and that it would take an “extraordinary” offer, potentially in the region of £80‑100 million, for them to seriously consider cashing in – particularly after already losing Alexander Isak to Liverpool in a record‑breaking deal last summer.
