Ryan Gravenberch is out of Liverpool’s latest Champions League clash. Gravenberch was a doubt for Wednesday’s trip to Eintracht Frankfurt after sustaining an ankle injury during last weekend’s defeat to Manchester United.

Arne Slot confirmed that the Netherlands international would be assessed after twisting twisted his ankle early in the second half of the Anfield reversal. “Unfortunately, he’s not ready to play tomorrow,” confirmed Slot.

“Ryan is not available for the Frankfurt game, hopefully he will be available at the weekend. “But it’s an ankle injury, we have to wait and see, give him a bit of time and see where he is when we come back from Frankfurt.” Liverpool, meanwhile, will be able to call on fellow midfielder Wataru Endo after he missed successive league games with a hamstring problem.
