A sporting director has offered his thanks to Liverpool after agreeing a deal over the weekend as confirmed by both clubs. On the transfer front, the club have also been busy, with young winger Trent Kone-Doherty sealing a permanent move to Norwegian side Molde FK over the weekend.

Club Sporting director Ole Jakob Strandhagen, speaking to the club’s media channel, has thanked Liverpool for their openness in negotiations: “Trent is a technically good and fast winger who has shown his skills and not least potential in the final third during his time at Liverpool. “He is well educated at Liverpool, and we are very happy that he has chosen Molde as the next step in his development.

The process has been good and we thank Liverpool for a good negotiating climate, despite the fact that they also had a strong desire to keep Trent. We look forward to further developing his offensive qualities at Aker Stadion and in the Eliteserien.” READ MORE: Liverpool plot £150M midfield signing Want to get the latest Liverpool news direct to your phone?
