While he has not yet broken into the senior matchday squads as frequently as peers, his tactical flexibility and work rate have made him a mainstay in the academy and U21 sides. And at just 20 years old, Kelly has been officially called up to the St Kitts and Nevis senior squad following his return from injury and solid form at Liverpool.
He made his senior international debut on March 20, 2024, against San Marino. Since February 2024, he has been a mainstay in the Liverpool U21s under Barry Lewtas.
While he has yet to make a regular senior appearance, he is considered a vital “glue player” within the academy. His next challenge is securing an EFL loan move to gain domestic senior experience as he approaches a “make or break” window for his Liverpool career.
