Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson discussed the impact on Tottenham if they are relegation this season. There’s no impact there, whether they’re in the Premier League or not.
Credit: Imago“They’re going to lose Uefa money because it’s now clear that unless Tottenham can win the Champions League this season, they will not have European football next season,” said Borson. “I would think you’re looking at a £150m, £175m, maybe a £200m of a loss in revenue if they were relegated.” Tottenham’s next fixture sees them take on Crystal Palace on Thursday (5 March), where they will be hoping to ease their relegation fears.
