Thiago Alcantara Set for Liverpool Comeback as Reds Legend Given Green Light

Thiago Alcantara is poised for an emotional return to Anfield, joining the Liverpool FC Legends squad for a high-profile charity match against Borussia Dortmund Legends on Saturday, March 28, kicking off at 3pm GMT.[1]

The Spanish midfielder, who retired from professional football two years ago at the end of the 2023/24 season, will make his debut appearance for the Legends team. During his four-season stint at Liverpool from 2020 to 2024, Thiago featured in 98 matches, netting three goals.
