Tuchel named 35 players for the double-header, his final squad before confirming the 26-man squad for the 2026 World Cup, making Alexander-Arnold’s omission a major setback to his hopes of travelling. Despite returning to full fitness in March, Tuchel opted to leave one of the world’s top right-backs out of the squad.
