Everyone at Liverpool clearly wanted Mohamed Salah to stayEven though he has had a bit of a spat with manager Arne Slot, the Dutchman would not have put him back in the squad if he did not want to keep hold of him, so this is a very telling sign. The fans also cheered loudly when he came on in the first half and sang his song on multiple occasions, showing where their heads are at.Salah himself also played like he wants to stick around, with the Egyptian being far less selfish and linking up well with his teammates. It is safe to say that stuff will likely be said while he is on international duty and rumours will continue to circulate, but based on his outing against Brighton, Liverpool need to keep hold of him.
