Alongside the confirmed season long loan deal for Barcelona defender Ronald Araújo, the biggest news surrounding Liverpool this week is that owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG) are selling a stake in the club. Sky Sports state FSG are preparing to make an announcement about a transaction as soon as this week which comes one month after the owners confirmed that the group had "expressed interest in making a strategic minority investment in Liverpool Football Club".

This latest deal to such huge investment tycoons shows how far the side have come since the American investors bought the side for around £300M back in 2010.Despite criticism since their arrival, FSG have lifted the club back to their perch and now the club is worth more than ever and is attracting some of the world's richest investors.
