The Blues have picked up back-to-back league wins after the international break and will aim to extend the run against Spurs, whom they have beaten in the last six meetings.

Ahead of the game, Alonso has confirmed that Gusto has recovered from a brief illness and he is in contention to face Spurs in the London derby on Saturday evening. Gusto has been largely out of the starting plans of the new manager, given Pedro Neto has been the regular choice in the right wing-back position.

The 23-year-old has played as a midfielder in the past for the Blues, but the club currently have sufficient competition for places in the role too. Moises Caicedo and Jordan Henderson have been brilliant as a pairing lately and should continue in the centre of the park tomorrow.
