Feyenoord assistant Sipke Hulshoff is set to follow Arne Slot to Liverpool (ANP via Getty)

Arne Slot is planning to bring his assistant, Sipke Hulshoff, with him to Liverpool after a £9.4 million compensation deal was agreed with Feyenoord.

According to The Times, Slot is planning to bring several members of his Feyenoord coaching staff to Anfield this summer, including his assistant, Hulshoff, and his head of performance, Ruben Peeters.

Speaking about Hulshoff in March last year, Van Dijk said: ‘Of course I didn’t know Sipke Hulshoff before this, you have to get to know each other, you see what his qualities are and I personally certainly like that.
