Danish TV interviewer Niels Christian Frederiksen has defended Jürgen Klopp after an interview with the Liverpool boss went viral on Sunday.
Klopp left the chat frustrated and the clip of him 'storming out' was shared thousands of times.
Frederiksen, the broadcaster at the center of this storm, has come forward to shed light on the incident, emphasizing his lack of grievance towards Klopp's heated response.
According to Frederiksen, the Liverpool manager's outburst was less about personal affront and more a manifestation of his acute frustration over losing a crucial game in such dramatic fashion.
The question that tipped Klopp over the edge pertained to his team's lack of intensity during the game — a query that Frederiksen stands by as valid based on Klopp's own comments about their performance.

Dispelling any notions that Klopp's comments were a jab at his physical appearance, Frederiksen, speaking to the Danish outlet Tipsbladet, clarified that the critique was aimed at his questioning prowess, not his physique.
He staunchly defended Klopp's character, asserting that the Liverpool manager is far from malicious.
"I interpret it mostly as an expression of his terrible frustration that they lost to Manchester United in the manner it happened, where they were ahead twice and should have sealed the deal," he explained.
I don't think he holds a grudge, and I certainly don't."
Responding to claims that Klopp had insulted him about his weight, Frederiksen said: "First of all, I'm not overweight, and if I were, he would never ever say that.
