Feyenoord manager Arne Slot is a rising managerial talent in global football known commitment to attacking football and delivering silverware.
After leading Feyenoord to their first Eredivisie title in six years 2022/23, the 45-year-old has managed to add another medal to his collection in KNVB Cup final last weekend.
Additionally, he also made the Conference League final in his first season at Feyenoord, losing out to Jose Mourinho’s Roma in the final 2021/22 final.
As one can see, the Dutchman has been in and around major silverware for the past few seasons now.
His side sit second to PSV in the Eredivisie table having been unable to retain their title.
Born in the Netherlands, Slot had a successful playing career primarily as a midfielder in clubs like NAC Breda and Sparta Rotterdam before transitioning into coaching.
Stints in various roles at PEC Zwolle and AZ Alkmaar eventually saw him being picked up by Feynooord.
Slot’s appointment at Feyenoord saw him inherit a club with a rich history and he quickly endeared himself to supporters with his ambitious approach.
His ability to develop young talent and integrate them into the first team has been a key feature of his tenure so far.

And at the KNVB Cup final this weekend, Feyenoord technical director Dennis te Kloese was present.

Te Kloese was present to watch Slot and his side emerge victorious as 1-0 winners over NEC Nijmegen on Sunday.
Slot was the subject of interest from Premier League sides in the past summer transfer window.
Most notably, Tottenham and Leeds United were believed to be interested in his services.
On the 45-year-old manager, Te Kloese alluded to this interest and explicitly stated that he is planning with Slot for next season.
