Liverpool faces two key matches at Anfield this week as the push for a remarkable treble continues.

Jürgen Klopp has made no secret of his desire to win the competition, with the final in Dublin potentially being his last match in charge.

Liverpool also hosts Crystal Palace on Sunday in the Premier League, with the fate of the title no longer in its own hands.

Arsenal currently holds top spot on goal difference, with Manchester City a point behind in third.

Those title rivals were both in Champions League action on Tuesday and Klopp will be hope that competition can prove to be a distraction in the run-in, with all three sides having seven league matches to play.

Here are two stories from Liverpool.com that you don't want to miss, including more speculation on the search for Klopp's successor at Anfield, and news of another coach joining the exodus this summer.

How Amorim could line up

Rúben Amorim remains the leading candidate to become Liverpool's next manager.

The Sporting CP boss has led his side to the top of the Portuguese Primeira Liga table but speculation over his future remains.

Barcelona and Bayern Munich have also been credited with an interest in Amorim but Sky Germany claims he has a 'verbal agreement' with Liverpool about moving to Anfield this summer.

Those reports are thought to be wide of the mark but Amorim certainly has admirers at Anfield.

It has led to speculation over how a Liverpool side could look under the Portuguese boss, after nine years under Jürgen Klopp.

Klopp ally set to depart in summer

Liverpool will bid farewell to another staff member at the end of the season, with three coaches already following Jürgen Klopp out of the exit door.

The Reds confirmed that Pep Lijnders, Peter Krawietz and Vitor Matos will all depart this summer.

And now Klopp's replacement will need to fill another position after it emerged that Andreas Schlumberger has reached an agreement to leave at the end of the season, despite having another year on his contract.

Schlumberger previously worked alongside Klopp at Borussia Dortmund and the Liverpool boss made no secret of his delight at bringing him in back in 2020.

Check out that potential departure and what it could mean for Liverpool's backroom staff members moving forward here.
