Former Liverpool star John Barnes has admitted he thinks Mohamed Salah could leave the club in the summer.
Salah though is likely to attract more interest from Saudi Arabia when the transfer window opens.
The Egyptian was the subject of a $187m (£150m/€175m) bid from Al-Ittihad last summer, which Liverpool turned down.
Barnes believes Salah could be on his way out of Liverpool, but doesn’t see Van Dijk making an exit.
“Most of the stalwarts have already moved on,” Barnes told Genting Casino.
“Look at the departures over the last couple of seasons with Mané, Firmino, Fabinho, Milner, Henderson — there aren’t many of them left.
“I don’t think Virgil van Dijk will necessarily be thinking about (moving on for a new challenge).
Mo Salah is the only player I think could leave and there will be offers on the table from Saudi Arabia which could be an interesting opportunity for him.
“I don’t think you’ll see any other departures.
Why wouldn’t you want to be part of that as a player?”
Liverpool.com says: It would be a huge disappointment if either Van Dijk or Salah were to leave this summer.
