Liverpool will have a new manager in the summer and Feyenoord head coach Arne Slot has emerged as the new frontrunner to take over from Jürgen Klopp.
Kuyt played 208 times for Liverpool, scoring 51 goals, and he has now moved into coaching including having a stint with Feyenoord.
Last year, Kuyt suggested that Liverpool should be taking a look at a couple of Feyenoord players.
He was also quick to praise Slot's work, long before anyone knew that Klopp was leaving and the former AZ Alkmaar boss could be an option to replace the German.

Lutsharel Geertruida and Orkun Kökçü were the two stars in question.
Speaking to the Liverpool ECHO last year, Kuyt said: "I am a Feyenoord man and they are doing very well at the moment.
"They have a very good manager in Slot and some of the younger guys like Kökçü and Geertruida are knocking on the door and playing very well.
I hope Liverpool is interested in Feyenoord players, and I am an example it can work!"
Geertruida is a versatile 23-year-old who can play at center-back, right-back and holding midfield, and signing a new defender would appear to be logical for Liverpool this summer given that Joël Matip is set to leave at the end of his contract.
Liverpool had been linked tentatively with a move for him at the time amid its midfield revamp.
Liverpool.com says: If it is to be Slot that takes over at Anfield, there will be no repeat of the Erik ten Hag situation at Manchester United where he was simply allowed to sign as many of his favorite players from his former club as possible, no matter the cost.
