Gasperini "happy" with Anfield links

Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini is the latest manager linked with a potential move to Liverpool once Klopp steps down at the end of the season.

And while Gasperini admits he is "happy" to be linked with the Reds, he did insist he remains fully focused on knocking them out of the Europa League.



"Of course I am happy with links to Liverpool job to replace Klopp but my focus is on the game," he said(

Amorim hailed

Sporting manager Ruben Amorim has also been linked with the Liverpool job and former Premier League star Nemanja Matic, who played under Amorim at Benfica, believes he would be a "great replacement" for Klopp.

"Ruben Amorim is an excellent person," Matic told O Jogo(

"I see Ruben Amorim at a big club, I don't know if it will be Liverpool, but if it happens I'm sure he'll be a great replacement for Klopp because Ruben understands football and has the personality and character to be a great coach - he already currently is."
