Richard Keys has suggested that Liverpool could be making a mistake by going for Feyenoord boss Arne Slot this summer.
There will be a new face in the home dugout at Anfield for the first time since 2015 with Jürgen Klopp departing at the end of the campaign.
Liverpool, led by FSG CEO of football Michael Edwards, has identified Arne Slot as being a good fit to take on the daunting task of following the German.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy had actually tried to get Slot first, but the now-45-year-old decided that he didn't want to leave Feyenoord, even though he has since made clear that he wants to work in the Premier League.

"I’d go for Postecoglou," Keys said on beIN Sports.
But it appears now that Slot could be the chosen candidate.
Liverpool.com says: Postecoglou has done a decent job at Spurs, especially considering they lost Harry Kane to Bayern Munich last summer.
Tottenham seemingly came to the same conclusion when they tried to get Slot only for him to reject a move there.
While Slot is not a name that many Liverpool fans will have been familiar with before he became the favorite to come to Anfield, it does make a lot of sense that he is a person the data suggests would be a good fit.
Postecoglou is fine, but Slot is the more enticing option for Liverpool as it attempts to take the next step.
