Adam Kent, 25, was just five-years-old when he was told he had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - a genetic condition that his brother Alix, 27, also suffers from.

Before the match at Anfield, Adam's twin sister Hannah Cagliarini told the ECHO : "Liverpool have invited Adam to the Liverpool v Porto game to give him the option of achieving his dream of holding a scarf above his head.

Last month the two brothers from Crosby were given the devastating news that they are suffering with heart failure, with both of them being a "ticking timebomb".

Adam has now been given the chance to fulfil his lifelong dream, after months of fundraising and still being a way off the mark, Liverpool FC, with the help of disability technology company Rahana Life, have given him the opportunity to use a robotic arm to hold his scarf up for You'll Never Walk Alone.
