A new supercomputer has predicted Arsenal will win the Premier League this season following their 5-0 thrashing of Chelsea.
Defending champions Manchester City, meanwhile, sit four points behind Arsenal with two games in hand.
The supercomputer uses a probability model to make its predictions, estimating the results of every remaining game based on a number of factors including league position, form and betting odds.
. It then simulates those matches 1,000 times before putting together a league table based on the average results from those simulations and it has predicted Arsenal will win the league despite dropping points in two of their remaining four games.
The Gunners have been backed to win two and draw two, leaving them with 85 points.
Both City and Liverpool, however, have been predicted to finish just one point behind them with 84.
According to the supercomputer, City are set to win just three of their remaining six fixtures while Liverpool will win three of their last five.
Arsenal have been backed to win the Premier League.
