Liverpool have reportedly secured the services of Jurgen Klopp’s successor at Anfield.
On Friday night, TBR Football sources confirmed that an agreement in principle has been reached between Liverpool and Feyenoord over Arne Slot.
Personal terms with Slot have also been agreed, and an announcement is expected in the coming days.
Now, The Athletic has reported that the 45-year-old is set to bring two colleagues with him to Liverpool from Feyenoord.
And one of them has worked with Virgil van Dijk before, the Reds skipper singing his praises last year.
According to The Athletic, Feyenoord assistant coach Sipke Hulshoff and head of performance Ruben Peeters are set to join Slot at Liverpool next season.

He has also managed Cambuur’s Under-19s and worked with their senior team as assistant and caretaker.
Hulshoff has been with Feyenoord since 2021, first managing their Under-21s and then becoming Slot’s assistant in July 2022.
The 49-year-old is also Ronald Koeman’s assistant with the Netherlands men’s senior team, and has worked with Liverpool stars Virgil van Dijk, Cody Gakpo and Ryan Gravenberch.
Indeed, the Reds captain was eager to sing Hulshoff’s praises during their first international camp together last year.
“Of course I didn’t know Sipke Hulshoff before this,” Van Dijk told Voetbal International.
“You have to get to know each other.
I think I also speak for the group.”
Meanwhile, Peeters has worked as Feyenoord’s performance manager since 2021.
Prior to his stint at the Rotterdam club, the 31-year-old worked as a fitness coach at Belgian club Genk, first with their youth teams and then for the first-team.
