Liverpool faces a huge few week as it bids to keep its treble hopes alive.

The Reds suffered back-to-back defeats to Atalanta and Crystal Palace last week but must now dust themselves down and recover.

Jürgen Klopp has seen his side overturn some deficits in the past and another incredible comeback will be needed in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final in Italy on Thursday night.

That is followed up by a trip to Fulham on Sunday, with Liverpool now third in the Premier League table.

But Liverpool plays twice in the league before City returns to action due to its FA Cup semi-final, with Klopp's side also having a Merseyside derby against Everton at Goodison Park on the horizon.

Despite the difficult week, Liverpool could yet make this season unforgettable and end the Klopp tenure on the ultimate high.

A number of names continue to be linked with the post but Amorim is the favorite, with his side currently sitting pretty at the top of the Portuguese Primeira Liga table.

Amid speculation over Amorim replacing Jürgen Klopp, Liverpool has been linked with several Sporting players including defenders Gonçalo Inácio and Ousmane Diomande, as well as midfielder Morten Hjulmand.

Yet reports suggest he is now looking to sign striker Viktor Gyökeres too, if he takes over from Klopp at Anfield.

The Swedish international has 36 goals from 43 appearances in all competitions for Sporting CP, having made the move to Portugal from Coventry City last summer.
