Since making his debut for the first team, he’s scored on his Wales U21 debut and got three goal contributions in four games for Liverpool’s U21 side.

Koumas scored Liverpool’s only goal of the game in a 2-1 defeat after brilliantly pressing his opponent to win the ball and slotting the ball cooly in the back of the net.

That was the type of goal Jurgen Klopp will have loved, and he definitely caught the Liverpool boss’ eyes.
