Liverpool have a massive summer coming up.
This may well be the biggest summer transfer window the Reds have had in 20 years as they undergo a massive overhaul.
A new manager, a new recruitment team and potentially the departure of Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool need to rebuild and rebrand this summer, and speaking on BBC Radio Five Live (26/4/24 7:20PM), Nigel Reo-Coker has come up with a novel idea around what the Reds should do this summer.
Indeed, the pundit says that Liverpool should revamp their attack, claiming that the Reds would be smart to use Darwin Nunez in a swap deal to sign a player like Victor Osimhen.

Reo-Coker spoke about Nunez and what he would do with the Uruguayan.
“The chances that he is getting are not half chances.
He is not good enough.
“If I was Liverpool, yes, you are going to lose Salah, you can probably find a good enough replacement, but for me, it’s that goalscorer.
Nunez, it’s either you give him another chance or you try now to trade him with another club where you could maybe swap Nunez and bring in some top European strikers out there, whether that’s Victor Boniface, Osimhen or something.

“You try to work out a swap deal to get one of those strikers in and move Nunez on.”
While swapping Nunez for Osimhen is probably a good idea, we can’t see Napoli accepting such a deal.
Osimhen is valued at £113m after signing his new contract with a hefty release clause, and, in all honesty, Nunez isn’t worth close to that mark.
He cost Liverpool £85m two years ago, and it’s hard to say that his stock has increased since then – if anything, his value has dropped.
If Liverpool were to put together such a deal, they may need to add a bit of a cash incentive as well.
