Liverpool supporters are hoping to see a new midfielder join in January, with Bournemouth’s Alex Scott emerging as a genuine candidate. Who deserves higher or, perhaps, even lower? 🤔 Liverpool won’t sign Scott for £80m There is little question that Liverpool need a new midfielder.

According to Sky, Liverpool and Chelsea are the two most keen on Scott, and most likely to test Bournemouth with a bid in the new year. Nevertheless, Liverpool already know that they could sign Monaco’s Lamine Camara for around £60m, considerably less than Scott. A cheaper player and a someone more befitting of the profile they are looking short of, it seems fairly clear at this stage that Camara should be on Liverpool supporters’ radar for a January move much more than Scott.
